Meet Our Experts

Monday February 28nd

Dr. Catherine Newry is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor based out of Toronto with a passion for helping women transform their health through improved nutrition, balanced hormones and stress management.

Having personally struggled with hormone-related health issues and feeling as though she wasn't presented with enough information or treatment options, her goal as a healthcare practitioner is to empower women to take control of their healthcare.

She does this by making sure that her patients understand how their bodies work and involving them in their treatment process so that together, they can create a plan that works best for them.  

 

Dr. Newry holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, from the University of Ottawa before going on to graduate from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Wednesday, March 2nd

6:30 pm EST/3:30 pm PST 

Susan Harris, owner of Diverse Financial Group - a Financial Services Management company that focuses on low-income families and self-employed individuals. Since 2004, they have been focused on bringing well-needed dollars into the homes of Canadians trying to make a better life for themselves and their families. 

Susan is a graduate of Seneca College, Centennial College and The University of Toronto where she has accomplished her Accounting Diploma, Bookkeeping Certificate, Income Tax Certificate and Internal Audit Certificate. 

Lastly, she is a member of many local organizations throughout the GTA, but is most proud to be a part of the CVITP Program (Community Volunteer Income Tax Program) handled by CRA - The Canada Revenue Agency. This program allows individuals and families that are low income to get their taxes completed for without cost and has been a part of this program for the last 14 years.

Together, We are Making a Difference

The 6 Days of Your Health started as we were affected by the pandemic, and we were all wondering how to handle this difficult time. 

 

It was at a time when the world was at a standstill, mental health was becoming a greater focus, along with other factors of our health that were not being discussed.

 

The goal of this annual event is to celebrate strength, courage, and make a difference in women's health. The aim of 2022 is to empower women to live healthier, work smarter, and stay healthy by giving them tools that empower them.

Mo Akins is a compassionate and wellness-focused entrepreneur. 

Mo founded and hosts the 6-Days Of Your Health, which empowers women to strive to improve their wellbeing.
The focus each year is on topics that are important to all women around the world.
 
Mo developed this platform to equip women with the knowledge and tools needed to improve their overall wellbeing. She knows how challenging it is to balance work, running a business, family life and maintaining your health. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, host of Health Your Own Way Podcast, and a Consultant.

Because of this, she wants to empower high-performing women like you to discover their own definition of wellbeing.
